The redesigned Mariner II has all the great qualities that the original Mariner had but is loaded with improvements.  Normally you wouldn't mess with something as successful as the Mariner but we saw the need to update the building method to make it build just like the rest of our boards.

The Mariner II now has a domed deck instead of a flat deck.  It also offers the ability to build either wood strip rails or the solid laid up wood rails.  It still has great performance in both the surf and in calm water and has the carrying capacity of a party boat!  Seriously, we've had three rowdy boys on this thing at once and all they did is have fun!

Our instructions were first released in 2005 and have gone through many updates and revisions since then.  As a registered buyer you'll get updates free for life.  We guide you from selecting the wood to glassing the board and everything in between.  There are 78 pages with over 200 illustrations currently.  We know there are lots of sites showing wood surfboard builds but you wouldn't buy a new car and say "I'll just use the manual from my old car" would you?  Our instructions were written for our plans and are the best in the industry.
